How to File a Complaint Against a NMEDA Member

NMEDA is committed to the highest auto mobility equipment safety standards and satisfaction for anyone who works with our members. Sometimes a problem may occur that is difficult to resolve. We want to hear from you if you are dissatisfied with a product or service from a NMEDA member so we can make things right.

Follow the steps below and our North American Mediation Committee will review the complaint. If you have any questions or need help with the process, please contact the NMEDA office. It is important to note that the dealer must be a current NMEDA member at the time the complaint is filed. Non-member entities are out of NMEDA’s control.

Benefits of The Mediation Process: When parties want to get on with their lives, mediation allows a more reasonable timetable for resolving a dispute.

Less Expensive: Mediation is vastly less expensive than a typical lawsuit.

Greater Flexibility and Control: In mediation, unlike in a lawsuit, the parties are in control.

All NMEDA Canada member entities and individuals, regardless of member type, are subject to the provisions of the NMEDA mediation process and shall abide by the decisions thereof.
